Who actually makes multi-pole magnets

Why this is a short list. Multi-pole magnetisation means putting many alternating pole pairs onto a single face — a ring with six or twelve poles, or a pattern engineered for a specific behaviour. It needs a magnetising fixture built for that pattern, so it is a capital capability rather than a catalogue option. Most magnet suppliers sell magnets. Far fewer magnetise them to a pattern.

Distribution, not manufacture

One company in the check carries Polymagnet rather than making anything comparable. Worth knowing precisely because it is a channel that already exists.

Carries the full Polymagnet line under Polymagnet's own taxonomy - Align, Attach, Axial Centering, Twist to Release. Its three multipole matches are all about magnetic viewing film used to inspect multipole rings, so it makes none of it.

What we could not establish

Read, nothing found. On these nine we read the site properly — up to 31 pages each — and found no multi-pole claim: AMF Magnetics, Arnold Magnetic Technologies, Eclipse Magnetics, Eriez Manufacturing, IMA - Imanes Magneticos Aplicados, Magnetics Inc, Master Magnetics (The Magnet Source), Vacuumschmelze (VAC), Webcraft GmbH (supermagnete).

Could not be read. These four blocked the crawl and publish no sitemap, so we established nothing either way and are not counting them as a no: Magnetfabrik Bonn, Magnomatics, Max Baermann, SDM Magnetics.

The distinction matters. “Not stated on the pages we read” is not the same as “does not do it”, and a directory that quietly converts one into the other is worth nothing. Several of these are serious manufacturers whose capability pages we simply could not reach.

How this was checked

Each company’s own website was fetched and confirmed to name the company — a domain that merely responds is not a confirmation. Internal links suggesting capability, technology, magnetising or manufacturing were followed, up to fourteen pages per site. The seven sites whose navigation could not be crawled were retried through their sitemaps. Every claim above is stored with the sentence and the URL it came from, so any of it can be checked against the source rather than taken on trust. Checked 17 August 2026.
